Anxiously waiting...

This has got to be the hardest part of waiting. Having come so far now and knowing anyday we could receive the call with our travel date. Taking care of as much as possible around here while we wait. Abby's dentist appt done, early back-to-school haircuts are today and still searching for the back-to-school supplies. Trying to keep our 'caretakers' from having extra duties as much as I possibly can! Shelby's dentist appt falls later in August so hoping I will miraculously be back home by then or will just have them postpone the appt. Taking Shelby to the dentist is above and beyond the call of duty! She developed a phobia to the 'up and down' chair and can be quite difficult to get her to 'cooperate' (to use the term loosely!). Still need to find a translation dictionary to carry with us. Also need to start packing! I have a large pile in my bedroom floor where I have been adding things over time for the trip. I want to pull out everything that we have for the girls or to donate to the orphanage and pack it all in one of our bags since we won't be needing any of those things! Maybe then I can actually see what I still need to get! Having never really traveled... I'm sure I am forgetting a lot!!! It seems strange to be doing everyday task right now when we have a very large and important trip just around the corner, but for now there doesn't seem to be much more to do so... we continue to wait!
