A Praise Report!!!

I posted here before a prayer request and wanted to follow up with the praise! Shelby's aide was called today and told to go up to the high school to fill out transfer forms! This does not seem to a decision from the Board of Education. It appears that God has been laying the foundation for this answered prayer for a little while...

The high school principle had left mid-year and was temporarily covered to complete last year. While we were waiting to hear who the new principle would be I had remarked to many that I would love for Mr. Mc to transfer back to fill the job. He was Shelby's principle at her school 3rd grade and then transferred to the Middle School and was her principle again 4th/5th/part of 6th grade years. He was wonderful with her! He transferred to another school system (same county) after that. Needless to say.... He did transfer back and will be the principle of her high school! I called and spoke with him about the situation of us waiting to hear if her aide could be transferred. Since he has a history with Shelby and was there through some of our more difficult years, he knew where we were coming from! Also... he was the principle that hired Mrs H (Shelby's aide) and matched them to start with! Well... we were still waiting to hear if the Board would transfer Mrs. H. Then today.. Mrs. H receives a call from Mr. Mc. The high school had another aide come in and advise them that she would not be returning this year. This left a vacant position at the high school which gave Mr. Mc the ability to hire Mrs. H to fill the slot! They have to complete the paperwork, but it appears that Mrs. H will be making the move with Shelby to high school! That is such a huge blessing for us! The stress that has been lifted from our shoulders just knowing that Mrs. H will be there with her at the start of the year while we are out of country! Thank you all for praying with us! Thank you, God, for handling the intricate details and answering our prayers!

  2. Yay! Now that you have one less thing to worry about, Shelby's transition should be much easier on all of you...
