End of week update

So sorry.... time got away from me again. Wednesday we were able to confirm that DHR had Tim's fingerprints. They needed some info faxed and we took care of that ASAP. Thursday we had Shelby's IEP... ended up going a different direction than we had planned originally, but we are confident it is the right direction. Have peace with that and so glad that is behind us. Friday.... well. Friday we received word that my FBI prints were still at FBI and that they had a 6-8 week back log. The theory was that we should be near the end since these were resubmitted early March. I called FBI to check on the status. I was told that they were entered into their system on 4/27... this Monday. This means they just began. I was told they have 30 days to process. I was given some contact names/numbers at ABI and I am hoping to catch them on Monday (it was too late on Friday by the time I had the info). Hopefully we will get some encouraging information next week. Today I checked the mail and found Tim's ABI and FBIs had made their way to us! YEAH! So at least that mystery has been solved! We really need my FBI fingerprint background check to come back FAST! We need them in order to move forward. Please pray with us that they will not take the allowed 30 days, but will find their way through the system ASAP. We have 2 little girls that our aging out of the orphanage and we can not afford these continuous delays.
