Reading while we wait...

Still waiting on my FBI results. I'm thinking it will take DHR a few days to process and send out my letter so I will be patient (hopefully) and not start to harrass them until Friday or Monday. In the meantime.... we received our revised HS. Everyone is busily proofing/correcting/ etc... to ensure that little treasure is ready to go once the fingerprint results surface. Also, I found out that we have additional required reading/testing for our agency. Oops! I have already begun the mandatory educational reading/testing, but will take a few more days to complete. Hard to carve out the needed time while normal life still continues around you! I have completed 1/3 of it though and will be working on completing more today! It would be nice if we had done this (adoption) before and had some idea of what we were doing! Everytime I start to feel like I am caught up I find that I have overlooked something else! Makes me very nervous.... hoping I have not overlooked something MAJOR! I guess that is the role of the HS SW and our agency... to cross the Ts and dot the Is. Starting to get excited that maybe the end is in sight after all! I will start stalking our mail lady again today..... waiting on that very important letter so the rest of this can begin to move forward!
