The ups and downs
Woke up late this morning (forgot to change the bedroom clock) so I really figured I'd missed our shot at scheduling a follow up appointment for today. However, I was able to get us both scheduled back to back appointments at the exact time I had needed them! Headed out feeling like we were going to move mountains today. Ended up there was no notary after all... even though we had been assured that there was one on site. Still being optimistic, we parted ways with me contacting our agency to verify what was required so we could conquer this quickly. In the process we discovered we had some 'problems' with the forms. After faxing our medical forms to our agency coordinator, we are advised that they will have to be redone. Not impossible, but definitely deflating. After reading the follow up email, I discover that ALL of the test have to be less than 6 months old. This translates to Tim and Courtney having to go back for updates on test that don't quite make the timeline. Now, we will have the slight delay of waiting for test results before we can update the forms and follow up with our MD to get correct medical forms signed. Slightly frustrating end of a day, but hey.... we knew there was the possibility that we would have to have corrections made. Both plan to go get their test done tomorrow so we can work to get this portion of the process behind us soon! In the mean time, we plan to get with our HS agency as well and fax them our forms to review so we can make any corrections they may need at the same time! :) Live and learn! If the HS is satisfied with their forms as is, then I'd have to say today was a success after all! I'll let you know....
