Now that we are home...

The girls are still getting used to family and home. We have been busy scheduling doctor visit and trying to get Sophia's medicine. The orphanage gave us enough doses to get home. We immediately starting calling the on-call doctor line and after 4 days, 3 doctors and numerous calls we finally got Sophia some more medicine (for Pulmonary Hypertension). We are looking forward to having them both evaluated and see what we are really facing medically with them. We know that often the reported medical issues are not always accurate. We have an appointment scheduled for each with Pediatrician, Eye doctor, Cardiologist, Dentist and Downs Clinic. We applied for Social Security numbers. Added them to our primary insurance, requested forms for Secondary insurance and calling Dental insurance. Still need to register with Embassy of Ukraine. Submitted required documentation to our agency. Need to call school district again now that we are home and set up services for them both. Needless to say... we have been busy between adjusting and taking care of business! :)
