Post #2 for Sunday August 3rd:

It is 2:00pm and we have hopefully caught up on enough sleep to be able to function. We found ourselves awake super early this morning and unable to go back to sleep. We had planned to venture out once the city woke up and explore our surroundings. We found that by the time the city woke up we were exhausted! What started out as a 30 minute nap kept getting extended until we finally acknowledged we were too tired to do much and allowed ourselves to crash. I think we will still manage to sleep tonight though since we had lost the better part of 2 nights sleep between travel and travel prep (aka internal alarm system that keeps you from over sleeping).
We have already experienced the problem of not being able to read their language. Tim did make an early run to the grocery store this morning for coffee and other needed supplies. He purchased some sugar and milk for me to use in my coffee. Luckily I “sniffed” the milk first! We decided we must have ended up with buttermilk! He thinks he spotted hot cocoa so we will be buying some of that soon! 

  2. That is funny about the buttermilk. I bought a gallon of it last time (unusual because I usually have the smaller size) and I have gotten it out a couple of times for coffee, then realized before I poured it in.
I guess I have no excuse, since my label is in English.
